For me the tent is a symbol of freedom and adventure in nature. But when you see all the tents from homeless people in a city such as Berlin, where I used to live, the tent itself becomes a different meaning. In the series „Habitat“ I am putting the tent itself in the focus in a very aesthetic way. The series juxtaposes beauty and misery. In addition, the series is addressing space: can there be private space in public space?
